Team Wolves Wins!

TGIS. Thank God It's Sunday. Have a blessed day, everyone!! What a better day to thank GOD for the blessings He showered unto our team, for the guidance all throughout the duration of the Intramurals, for the strength He had given to each of the participant, who not only gave their very best but have shown much courage, perseverance, cooperation, & sportsmanship.

Chem and I were very proud of them! Their labor reaped a bountiful harvest of fruits. The rigid practice for the cheerdance competition, ball games practices, dance rehearsals. We all witness their hardships. It was all worth-it! They were able to gain friends, enjoyed every moment amidst the stress and fatigue. They were like our brothers and sisters!
Congratulations, guyz! Thank you, GOD! GOD Bless, Team Wolves!

INTRAMURALS - Day 2

Swimming competition will take place this afternoon at SANVALI. Basketball game continues as our team battled against the Eagles Team (women's division). Team WOLVES wins!

Exactly 1pm. We (Christine, Melvin and I) set foot at the Resort. The Chairman talks to the CARE group members as we head to the Restrooms. Swimmers [m & f] are to compete on Freestyle and Backstroke category. Our team were on time. COmpetitors from Team Eagles & Team Scorpions were already plunging the waters of their Mini-Olympic size pool. Surprisingly, I was the only Team Adviser present [smiles]. Swimmers unwind & bonded for a while.
Pass 2pm. Teams from Annex Branch hasn't shown a flesh. The Chairman is already infuriated. My temper thermometer is slowly rising, too!
The Competition, according to the distributed guidelines should start at 1pm but the Teams from Annex came in at 2:26pm. We were early. They were not.
The Chairman spilled she would forfeit the other teams after 2:30pm but they arrived 4minutes before the ultimatum. Well... [sighs]
Anyways, our team got the 2nd place in Backstroke then 3rd & 5th on Freestyle category. When fighting for champion sets in, we cheered for MAIN, of course..hehehe! Winners were from the late comers, so to speak! By the way, CONGRATULATIONS Dragon Team!
We all went back to the Gymnasium & related to Chem [Team Adviser] the behind-the-scenes..char!! hehehe! Till my next post..ciao!!

INTRAMURALS - Day 1

Woke up early, as in super early. Kinda jittery on what lies ahead of us. Its cold outside. Rain has started to fall. I decided to take an early morning bath. My cellphone keeps on beeping. Gosh! last night's messages just came in..

5:30am..Sir Jopay & company informed me they were already at school waiting for our cheerdancers. I texted them and they were on their way to school na daw. It's still drizzling outside.

6:25am..dropped by the school to check on our cheerdancers. Wished them goodluck for later's performance. We then headed to the assembly area of the parade. Haven't heard from Chem yet.

7:35am..Was overwhelmed with the presenceof the students in their TEAM WOLVES shirts. Better off attend the parade than suffer the consequence of monetary penalty. Attendance was checked by the way. If there would be an award for the Best Group during parade, that would be our group [hahaha, love my own kaayo ba]..Thanks TEAM WOLVES members!!

11:48am..lunch time is about to strike and we began distributing foods for the players/participants & members of the Team. I could already hear someone else's growling stomach..pardon me for spilling the bean but i'd rather keep it a blind item [chuckles]..wow! fried chicken paired with sauteed vegetables..yummy!! Thanks to Gen, the head of FOOD Committee.

1:20pm..board games were to start according to the announcement but some of the chairman of each game were nowhere to be found [sighs]..our participants were already in standby except for the one who'll play the scrabble..a female dear..but she was able to come on time. She changed clothes pa kasi eh. Anyways, the game started & finished and we got the 2nd and 3rd place for the female & male category of the scrabble competition. For the chess, our team got the 1st place for female & 2nd for male category..

5:35pm..i'm home now tapping the keyboard on my PC relating my whereabouts rather the team's whereabouts the whole day..darn, i'm so tired..have to be early tomorrow coz it's the women's basketball's 1st game..

i'll sign off for the mean time..have to recharge..zzzzz =) ciao!

Lucky day

Strangers are not at all bad. "That depends on the looks..", a friend once jested when we were texting about strangers one time..
On my way home this morning from DASURECO, a lady opened her car window and offered a ride. She looked harmless naman. Part of my mind says not to and half of it says go ahead. Tipid pamasahe din ikanga [a trifty move to save my fare][chuckles]..And so I hopped in and settled. We began chatting and she was so accomodating. She talked about this town, her work, her business. She even pointed out her home as we passed by it. Asked me where I reside, my work. We talked about Nursing, going abroad and some stuffs. You know naman I talk a lot, hehehe!! Few minutes of my ride, she dropped me off to my 1st destination for the day.
I thank Mrs. Canastra. I uttered kasi I would mention her in my blog. She smiled. Then she took off. It just fascinates me seeing a woman drive a car.

Thank you so much, Ma'am Lorgie! God Bless your kindness..

Good day

Just had my lunch. My next class is at 12:30pm. Went back to school, checked the I.L. Was not surprise to see the GUARDIAN, never went through anyway. I was hoping I could research some for my lecture but never mind. I'd rent na lang sa cafe. I don't want to spoil my day. I am having a very good start of the day...

This morning, on my way to school, in good mood. Set foot at school. Logged-in (logbook & DTR). Went inside the room then responded to my student's morning greetings. While preparing for my lesson, I stood up, "Oh my GOD," i uttered. "Naiwan ko ang Infant Care Manual sa pedicab [I left the Infant Care Manual in the tricycle]." Gosh, its a borrowed thing. One of my student tried to uplift my spirit, telling me not to worry 'cause it will be given back. I hope so. I prayed. I'm crossing my fingers, he would. But, what if he might not notice? I sat on the backseat.

Nearly an hour exhibiting my agony, optimizing. An electronics student handed-in the Manual. The tricycle driver returned the book. My God, answered prayer. God Bless the driver of that vehicle. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your honesty.

He is indeed, a GODSEND.

i'm sick

Been to the cheerdance practice. Not as participant but as Team Adviser monitoring its members for the forthcoming PITS Intrams '08. Wasn't feeling that well. I was having a non-productive cough, colds. i feel so heavy [di dahil sa timbang ko noh, hehehe!] gosh, i still manage to joke around..At least, i was able to accomplish my task for the day..that satisfies me already. Mui, on the other hand, accompanied apple to the make-up artist we knew since College..No other than Kuya Reggie R.
Anyways, i'll post this the time my sister was done giving me a massage using the massage roller device she bought..as if i have an internet connection [chuckles].
Thank you, sis! i feel a bit sleepy na after the therapy. Hope to get well soon. I should..
